Tampa, Fla. [March 23, 2023] – The Community Foundation Tampa Bay is pleased to welcome Lindsey Tindall, MA as the Director, Academic Scholarships.
The Community Foundation Tampa Bay awarded more than $1.5 million in scholarships during the 2021-22 academic year. Those awards, made possible by the charitable support and passion of fundholders, came from 74 scholarship funds benefitting more than 375 students. Learn more about our scholarship program.

In addition to directing the scholarship efforts, Lindsey will manage the operations of the St. Petersburg office location.
Lindsey Tindall is a Suncoast native from Sarasota, Florida with a passion for people, education, and community. She received her Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Central Florida and her Masters of Arts from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice with concentrations in Organizations & Management and Community Planning, Organizing, & Development.
For the past twelve years, Lindsey has dedicated her career to building relationships, developing programs, and creating community-level change. In her most recent role as Manager, Scholarships and Grants at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Lindsey directed one of the largest community foundation scholarship programs in the state, awarding $2 million from 88 funds to more than 600 students annually. During her tenure in this role, she designed and implemented a comprehensive plan for program improvement impacting several key areas including process efficiency, donor stewardship, committee engagement, and program evaluation, among others.
