2017 grantmaking by community foundations reaches record high
At the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, our donors made possible more than $14 million in grants to nonprofits during our most recent fiscal year. That’s about $4 million more than the previous year. Turns out, we’re in good company. The 100 largest community foundations in the country (and we are among that top 100) granted a record $7.9 billion in 2017, an increase of more than $1.1 billion.
