The Tampa Bay Lightning Honored Betty Castor as the 49th Lightning Community Hero This Season
We’re so proud of all that Betty Castor has done for our community and are excited to work even more closely with her as she assumes the chair of our Board of Trustees for two years beginning July 1. The contribution to the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay from the Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero award will go to the FUSE Scholarship Fund, which supports students enrolled in the seamless transfer program between the University of South Florida and eight Florida state colleges, including Hillsborough Community College and St. Petersburg College. The contribution in Betty’s honor will be matched by our friends at Helios Education Foundation. Thank you all, and congratulations!
