Beth Waters Friendship Fund

Established in 2007
In memory of Beth Waters

The Beth Waters Friendship Fund is named in honor of Elizabeth Ann Waters: a devoted mother, a passionate friend, and the ultimate advocate. Beth lived her life in service to others and during her time in Tampa she gave back to her community in various ways, always championing women’s rights. In 2006, Beth lost her battle with breast cancer and the Beth Waters Friendship Fund was created to carry on her legacy of giving. Each year the Friendship Fund donates to the causes Beth was most dedicated to, including The Spring of Tampa domestic violence shelter, The Athena Society’s Women’s Education Fund, and Faces of Courage, a camp for women, children, and families who have been affected by cancer and blood disorders.
