Hearing the voices of the Community Association members who would like to have the Master Plan of their campus renovations accelerated, the Sun City Center Community Association Future Facilities Fund has been created at the Community Foundation Tampa Bay. This fund will allow for tax deductible legacy donations on behalf of the future needs of the members for today, tomorrow and forever.
“The Community Association will be able to speed up the phases of the Master Plan based on the amount of donations and then utilize the unrestricted funds for future maintenance, improvements, design, technology, etc.” said Debbie Caneen, Community Association Board Member. If you prefer to donate anonymously, the Community Foundation Tampa Bay will accommodate your request.
Would you like to have a building named after your family? Sizeable donations will be considered for such applications and are certainly encouraged. Many of the residents are excited to get the project underway and to continue to move through the building phases without any delay of waiting for the influx of transfer fees from home sales.
At this time, the Community Association’s Capital Fund holds close to $5 million dollars which is a great start – DEBT FREE – in the updates of the campus.
As SCCCA moves through the process of improving the facilities, they will continue to search for opportunities for grant funding and donations.
